About us

We are passionate cave divers, SDI and IANTD Scuba Instructors and words cannot begin to describe our love for diving the mesmerizing caverns and caves located here in the Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico. Here we find the largest underwater cave system in the world and we enjoy taking divers on tours to guide them through the many Cenotes or Caves, showing them all of their secret treasures.

Julia, the founder of cavedivingtulum.com, has worked in the dive industry for over 10 years, in a few of the most incredible dive-spots of the world but when she stumbled upon the hidden Mayan city of Tulum, she immediately fell in love. This little gem located on the Caribbean coast of Mexico (approximately 90 minutes from Cancun), left an unforgettable first impression, especially the fantastic world below. When Julia arrived she originally planned on staying here for six months... and that was now more than eight years ago :) Tulum has now became home!

We love every dive here, come rain or shine. We adore the jaw dropping views, giant caves with big ballrooms to the small caves with tight passages and fragile decorations, tall or small dripstones, pretty or scary tunnels, the majestic sunbeams... the list goes on and the caves are endless...

Our favorite dive is always the last one; each day better than the last! We look forward to meeting you and taking you diving to introduce you the magic underneath the jungles of Tulum.
